LIGHTING
· The backlight uses an LED (light-emitting diode) and a light guide panel that causes the entire display to illuminate for easy reading in the dark. The automatic light switch activates the backlight when the watch is tilted at an angle toward your face.
SECOND TIME ZONE
· A second local time can be set and viewed. Ideal if, for example, you make a lot of overseas calls.

60-LAP MEMORY

The memory can store up to 60 such entries. Some models also offer the ability to store calculated distances and calorie expenditure.

STEP COUNTER (DISTANCE)
An individually adjustable succession of tones helps maintain your pace while jogging. If a stride length has also been entered, the watch calculates the approximate distance traveled.

COUNTDOWN TIMER
· For those who demand precision: Countdown timers are very useful for remembering special or recurring events, as they emit an audible signal at the preset time. They then automatically begin counting down from the preset time. They can be set to minutes or up to 100 hours in advance. They are especially practical for daily medication intake or interval training.
· Measuring unit: 1 second.
· Input range: 1 minute to 100 hours (one-minute increments and one-hour increments).

5 ALARMS
· The daily alarm will remind you of recurring appointments with an audible signal that sounds at the set time. This model is equipped with 5 independent alarms that remind you of your important appointments.
· Four alarms that sound once, and one snooze alarm that sounds once.
